Welcome Grade 10 Class of September 2012
Welcome to our classroom, online and off.
I hope you will enjoy this course. We have lots in store: We'll be reading Romeo and Juliet and Farenheit 451. We also have a field trip arranged to see Romeo and Juliet live in Toronto.
I also want to get you writing creatively. We'll cover Poetry and informal wrting as well as formal literary essay writing.
In this section of the course I want you to learn the answer to questions like these:
What's the difference between formal and informal writing?
What are the different ways in which I can organize my writing to be an effective communicator?
How can I be persuasive and influential in my writing?
